The Operator's Operator

EOS Implementer® & Pre-Exit Coach in Philadelphia

I implement the Entrepreneurial Operating System® (EOS) for founder-led companies that want smoother operations, faster growth, a lot less firefighting, while helping founders figure out and prepare for all facets of an exit.

Intro

I'm the operator founders call when they're facing a challenge or deciding on an opportunity. 20+ years of bootstrapping, scaling, and selling my own companies taught me how to take a creative and rigorous approach to the problems businesses face, from the reframes that change how leaders think about their teams to the connections who make your next stage possible. I'm based in Philadelphia, and I'm an honest and intentional advisor for founder-led companies trying to determine the best plan of action.

I implement EOS for companies that want to change how they work in a real, lasting way, with improvements that endure long after the leadership team has read Traction. I also help founders decide whether an exit is truly right for them when the question begins to weigh on them. If the answer is yes, I guide them through the operational, financial, and emotional preparation most people underestimate when they imagine what comes next. Whatever the path, you'll get a straight answer from me even when that answer is that I'm not the person who can get you there.

The Short Story

I started my first company from a college dorm room. I spent the next 18 years running what became Mobile Outfitters, leading and pivoting it from a mall kiosk in the middle of the global financial crisis to 1000+ locations and an exit I architected. I've led businesses through turmoil and through scaling. Along the way I navigated heavy manufacturing, software + hardware development, an R&D department, and a supply chain that ran from Philadelphia to Ghana.

Every engagement starts with EOS implementation. We get the business running better and less dependent on you. Then, if an exit becomes the goal, I help you and the business prepare for what comes next.

EOS Implementation

Pure EOS, implemented by someone who's actually run on it.

I ran my own companies on EOS for eight years before becoming a Professional Implementer. I sat in the Integrator seat as a co-founder, running the business alongside my Visionary, and lived with Rocks, Scorecards, and L10s as the operator accountable for the results, not as an observer.

I don't modify EOS or add my own spin. The system works. 30,000+ companies are running on it right now. But a company at full speed is a machine, and you can't just drop a new operating system into moving gears. Implementation is the clutch: bringing EOS and your company together so they sync and run smoothly. That's the craft, and it's why implementation done well succeeds where DIY installs stall.

02When the time is right

Pre-Exit Coaching

Exit without regret.

There's a pattern I want to change. Put these numbers together, and much of that regret looks like a preparation problem.

75%of founders regret selling within a year.
80%wish they had started planning sooner.

The first question is whether selling is actually right for you. Sometimes the answer is not yet. When the time is right, I help you prepare operationally, financially, and emotionally. Then I connect you with trusted bankers, financial planners, therapists, and founders who have been through it. The goal is building a life on the other side that you actually want, not just increasing the size of your bank account.

Evaluating Fit

The first conversation is simple. You tell me where things stand, I ask a lot of questions, and we both evaluate fit.
